Six Sentence Sunday: Crime Boss

Welcome to Six Sentence Sunday.  My excerpt today is from Never Trust a Pretty Wolf.  In this excerpt my hero Andy ponders why crime boss Joseph Wolf helped his daughter in law escape her marriage to his son.  You can read more about William Wolf in yesterday's post.  Never Trust a Pretty Wolf is available at http://www.astraeapress.com/#!/~/product/id=11343720 and most retail outlets.

If William was anything at all like the law enforcement community believed him to be, he was a dangerous man. A man even his father would not want to alienate. So why would Joseph have helped Liesel? She was only a daughter-in-law.

An obvious answer occurred to him. Maybe Liesel had blackmailed Joseph into helping her with the divorce
