For the last few months I've been sharing excerpts from Turnaround Farm, but today I'm sharing from another book, Never Trust a Pretty Wolf. We'll begin with Chapter One. I'm posting the same thing I posted last Sunday because I forgot to sign up. So forgive me if you've already read this.

Blurb:
Liesel Wolf has a secret, a dangerous secret she’ll go to any lengths to conceal. When she’s paired in a charity game with sexy marshal Andy Bryce, a man with secrets of his own, her carefully constructed world comes crashing down, and Liesel’s on a collision course with her past.

Last week:
Excerpt: I've skipped a few paragraphs. Andy and Liesel are at dinner.

  1. She's really playing tough and cold. I wonder if it's an act or if she's just sort of indifferent to all of it, or if there's something about him she doesn't like (yet) lol.

  2. I find it odd she's not handling all this better, since she's supposed to have deep dark secrets of some sort. Right now she's like a sulky teenager! But an interesting snippet...

  3. I'm curious to know more. She's a little standoffish. I wonder why.

  4. She's really giving him the cold shoulder. i wonder if something's eating at her or if she just doesn't want to do the partnership thing with him? Enjoyed the snippet!

  6. So far, there doesn't seem to be much hope for this relationship. I'll bet the geocaching game throws them nicely together, though.

  7. Sounds like he's trying his best in a one-sided conversation.
