Welcome to Blogmania. I’m so glad you decided to stop by. The theme of my giveaway is The Old South. The centerpiece of the prize is a handmade sweetgrass basket. Designs for these baskets came from Africa with slaves who made them of local grasses found in the area. At first the baskets were used for practical purposes such as gathering rice or cotton, but today there are many designs that can be used any way you choose. In addition to the basket I’m offering a cookbook by Dorie Sanders. The book is filled with traditional Southern recipes and stories from her family’s farm produce stand. I’m also offering a pair of handmade earrings by Lucy O Designs, and last but not least, I’m giving away a signed copy of my latest release Return Engagement.
