Fashionista Friday: Return of the Fedora

Where did the summer go?  It seems like I just turned around, and now it's almost time for school to start.  And that makes me think of fall fashion.  One of the biggest trends for fall is the return of the hat, the fedora in particular.  Here's a few that I thought looked nice.

Notice the two toned grosgrain band that ties with a bow?  I like that.  I also like the neutral color, another characteristic of fall fashion.  This fedora is made of wool.  You can buy it for $28 at http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/tarnish-ribbon-bow-wool-fedora/3293602?origin=category&fashionColor=Dark+Taupe&resultback=898

I think this fedora because of the color.  Neutral may be the thing for fall, but this color suits me.
You can get this teal-green, wool fedora for $180 at  http://www.etsy.com/listing/86979984/wool-fedora-trilby-hat-winter-hat-women

My third choice is this straw fedora.  I think it has a youthful, casual quality.  Get it for $32 at http://www.zappos.com/pistil-hazen-brown

  1. Fedoras always make me think of those noir films from the 1940s and 1950s. Humphrey Bogart, James Cagney, Burt Lancaster. I like the colorful updated versions in your photos much better!
