“I…I hurt my
knee,” she sniffed. “A tornado got my car.” Her arms tightened around him. He
felt so solid, so safe.
Cade made a
small sound somewhere between a groan and a moan and buried one hand in her
hair. His lips pressed against hers with an abandon that sent Aimee’s
temperature sky high.
