Six Sentence Sunday: Silken Whispers

Today's six come from an unpublished manuscript titled The Captain and the Cheerleader.  In this excerpt my hero and heroine who are teachers make the  mistake of kissing at school and get caught by one of their students.

Susan waited to leave her room until she had composed herself.  She really wished Benjy hadn’t interrupted her and Kurt.  She had enjoyed that kiss!  The feel of his lips on hers and the strength of his arms around her had sent a bolt of desire shooting through Susan that had left her shaken.  She remembered some of what had happened when they spent the night with Mendoza, but her misery over the estrangement with Kurt had caused her to forget the strong physical attraction between them. 

Now, his kiss and the banked passion she sensed inside him made Susan wonder just what it would be like to greet him at the door of their home wearing something soft and silky, something that would slide right off with a silken whisper and leave nothing between his hands and her skin except the faintest trace of perfume.
