A flash of movement a little way downstream brought her
head around. She saw Alan standing on the bank of the river. As
she watched, he removed his tunic and shucked his breeches. She
gulped as waves of heat buffeted her. He was magnificent from the
top of his burnished gold head to the bottom of his shapely legs. He
waded into the water and scrubbed his face before dunking
himself. His heavy shoulders rippled as his head cleared the water.
Morgane's heart took off at a gallop when he emerged from
the water.

ReplyDeletewoohoo! This is a great snippet IMHO because you don't go overboard with detail. You tell me his hair is blond and that's the only personal detail you offer - but with the rest of the description, I can picture a hot guy very easily :D
