Turnaround Farm is a kindle unlimited title available at https://wingsepress.com/turnaround-farm/

Blurb:
If up and coming realtor Holly Grant can buy Turnaround Farm for her client, her business will boom. Who says you have to have a man in your life to complete you? She’s fine as she is thank you very much. Her first problem is that Jeb Wakefield doesn’t want to sell his farm, and her second problem is Jeb’s grandson Dan, the finest looking man Holly’s ever seen.

Excerpt: Chapter One
Last week
In spite of the cold, Jeb broke into a sweat. He routinely gave thanks that Dan had been with him on that black day.

Dan was eighteen at the time of the accident. He had always planned to study architecture, but they didn’t have the money for college. He had needed Dan’s help to keep the farm anyway. His hands fisted. What a colossal waste. Dan had never complained though. The two of them had taken over the running of the almost penniless farm and begun the long, arduous task of repaying Kyle’s debts and
getting the farm on a sound financial footing. It had meant long hours of backbreaking toil in all types of weather.

This Week: We begin where we left off last week.

  1. This establishes the story problem quite forcibly. Good job.

  4. It is a vicious cycle all right, ignoring the house repairs because of their circumstances and it all only gets worse. Sort of a metaphor for their lives too...I like these guys, wish things would go better for them! An effective snippet...

  5. House repairs never end, do they?
Sounds like their lives need a bit of repair too. Great snippet.

  6. What a grim situation, clawing up from the misdeeds of others. Their grit says a lot about them. (side bar: parag 2 - "eyes" can't sweep but a "gaze" can!)

  7. So awful that they are reaping the "sins of the father." I hope they'll find an end to their situation.
