Turnaround Farm is a kindle unlimited title available at https://wingsepress.com/turnaround-farm/

Blurb:
If up and coming realtor Holly Grant can buy Turnaround Farm for her client, her business will boom. Who says you have to have a man in your life to complete you? She’s fine as she is thank you very much. Her first problem is that Jeb Wakefield doesn’t want to sell his farm, and her second problem is Jeb’s grandson Dan, the finest looking man Holly’s ever seen.

Excerpt: Chapter One
Last week
“When I saw him in the office, he was so verbally abusive I never thought about his looks,” Loretta answered in an injured tone. Holly stifled a smile. Loretta never took criticism well.

“He sure wasn’t pleasant tonight, was he?” Holly said. Thank goodness Loretta didn’t know about her knees. When she first saw Dan, her knees had felt spongy, and she’d have given a sizeable commission just to see if his shoulders felt as muscular and hard as they looked. She’d always had a thing for nice shoulders.

Of course she had no intention of saying anything to Loretta. If Loretta thought she had any interest whatsoever in Dan, she’d go on and on about it and tell everybody in the whole dang real estate office.

This Week: Loretta and Holly are talking while the Wakefields are in the barn.

  1. Very solid descriptions. I'd be curious to hear more of her thoughts from a realtor perspective - is it something she thinks she can sell?

  2. Sounds like a homey kitchen to me, if a bit in need of an upgrade. Enjoyed the snippet!

  3. So . . . does this mean she doesn't think very much of this place's saleability?

  4. I remember that place. LOL Sounds like my first home, though you forgot to mention the shag carpet. Good description of the place. I'm curious why she wants the contract to sell the place. What's the appeal? The property? Any time I'm this curious, I turn the page. Good job.

  5. SO many questions after reading this. Like Diane mentioned--I'd turn the page looking for answers. :-)

  6. Just a note. Holly already has a buyer for the house if she can persuade Jeb to sell. She'll earn a sizable commission from the sale and her real estate business will get lots of publicity.

  7. Sounds like the vacation cabin we built when I was a kid. Loved being there and never saw the flaws. Hope she won't, either!
