Saturday Sample and Weekend Writing Warriors: Never Trust a Pretty Wolf

Welcome to Saturday Sample and Weekend Writing Warriors. Today we'll continue to share excerpts from Never Trust a Pretty Wolf. On Sunday when you finish here, do go to http://www.wewriwa.blogspot.com for more excerpts from a bunch of great authors.

Blurb:
Liesel Wolf has a secret, a dangerous secret she’ll go to any lengths to conceal. When she’s paired in a charity game with sexy marshal Andy Bryce, a man with secrets of his own, her carefully constructed world comes crashing down, and Liesel’s on a collision course with her past.

Excerpt:
Chapter One

Last Week
She had put her hair up as she had done the previous evening. He was sure she knew how it showcased the graceful, feminine curve of her pretty neck.

Her first, tart words broke the spell. “Good morning, Mr. Bryce. Why don’t you put your bag in the trunk with my things?”

“Sure.” He’d told her to call him Andy, but evidently she had no intention of doing so.

She took her computer with her when they went into the IHOP. “Let’s eat a big breakfast so we can skip lunch,” she suggested. “We’ll save time if we do.”

This week: We're in Andy's POV

  1. Wow, this is a BIG search! That adds all kinds of interest to the story. SO many ways this could go. She sure is a cold one, lol. It will be fun watching her thaw!

  5. 12 hours, eh? It seems these two will have lots of time together to work out their differences and bond.

  6. What a wide search. So much together time. I wonder if she'll warm up to him.

  8. Aw, man, this just got a lot more real for them. 12 hours in a car together isn't something I'd wish on my worst enemy, especially not if it's with someone who actively doesn't like you. Can't wait for her response!

  9. Road trip! Anything can happen (and I can't wait to see what does!).
