Six Sentence Sunday

In this excerpt, my hero Richard who is an FBI agent is trying to save my heroine and his father who have been kidnapped by a man intent on revenge.  The character speaking is my villian.  Return Engagement is available at Whiskey Creek Press.

“It’s too late for talking, Agent Lovinggood. I have a new plan. You see, I won’t leave here without repaying you for what you did to me and my family.” He cocked his head. “Who would it hurt you more to lose: your lover or your father? I think maybe you could get another woman, but you only have one father, and I only have time for one shot.”
