Wanderlust

Wanderlust
by Bernadette Marie

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
GENRE: Contemporary Romance
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

BLURB:

Gia Gallow has traveled the world. Her wanderlust landed her in Georgia where she has created a life for herself away from the petty differences of relatives and domineering ex-lovers. Having settled in America, she has a successful business and dear friends—and the attention of both Dane and Russell Walker. Due to her own family's dramas over dueling hearts, she might have to forget about her feelings for Dane to keep peace within the Walker family, but sometimes even running thousands of miles away can't keep a heart from going after what the heart wants. And Gia's heart wants Dane.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
EXCERPT:
He'd only seen her once, and his breath had caught in his chest. Her image had stayed with him
—her long dark hair that had a charismatic bounce to it and those dark chocolate eyes that twinkled. She might have stood all of five-foot-three, but her personality was enormous. Then, of course, her voice had run in his ears for the past two months. That accent still tickled his spine in a way that sent tingles down it, right to his core.
Walker Bride
Walker Bride
by Bernadette Marie
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

GENRE: Contemporary  Romance

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
Always the bridal consultant, never the bride. That was former bad girl gone business professional, Pearl Walker's life until she put her hands on Tyson Morgan while measuring him for a tux.
Tyson was happy being a miserable man, taking care of his family's land, and not involved with a woman. However, even he can't resist the pull of attraction to the beautiful, and off limits, Pearl?
The feud between the Walkers and the Morgans had torn apart friends and families for generations. What might happen when Pearl Walker and Tyson Morgan become business partners—and more?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

EXCERPT:

Pearl watched him drive away and then leaned her back to the door. Her heart was racing so fast she couldn’t calm it down to normal pace.

He’d come for her. He’d come to the door, bought her coffee, and was running errands. How had this happened?

Pushing herself away from the door, she walked to the back of the store and set her bags on the small table in the back room.

She knew how this happened. She’d willed it to happen and then acted on it when she’d measured him for that tux.

Each muscle of his arms had rippled under her fingertips. The massive expansion of his chest had been wrapped in her arms.

No matter what, he’d enjoyed her presence near him too. A woman didn’t run her hand down a man’s leg and not notice what it did to him.

Pearl fought to catch her breath just thinking about him. And then she’d kissed him.

She had to sit down. What was going to happen? What was going on between them?

Her father wasn’t going to like it and she was damn sure his grandfather would reject the thought of the two of them. But she couldn’t think of anything else.

Then reality hit. He was a gentleman who was making sure she could get to work. He’d taken her home when she shouldn’t be driving. He bought her coffee and was helping her out. That meant nothing in the realm of falling for her. She’d pawed all over him and then threw herself at him when he’d dropped her off. That hadn’t been fair.

Sulking was going to ruin the pristine look she’d put together that morning. There was work to do, so she needed to lift her chin and get to it.

She let the smile form on her lips. Nothing could happen between her and Tyson Morgan. She’d have to deal with that and she would. But it was nice to know that they could be friends and he’d help her when he could.

The beating of her heart slowed to normal and she felt the cloud lift from her head. She stood, took the coffee with her, and headed out to sort through the dresses.

Stargazing

STARGAZING
by Bernadette Marie

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
GENRE:  Contemporary Romance
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

BLURB:

Bethany Waterbury left Hollywood and the shadow of her mother's death to give herself a fresh start. Her main intention—to connect with the family she’d never really had the chance to know.

Author Kent Black is enjoying his chart topping success and living freely wherever his travels take him. But when he meets the illustrious Bethany Waterbury his wanderlust subsides and the thought of a steady future begins to take over.

Kent believes in happily ever after, but the burden of Bethany’s past might be too much for him to embrace —unless true love is more powerful than a Hollywood tragedy.

EXCERPT:

“Bethany?” he called as if they were old friends.

She felt the blood drain from her head. She didn’t know him did she?

He moved quickly around Mrs. Talbot and straight to her. “Hi, sorry, had to get away from her. I’m Kent. I know you’re Bethany. I’m a big fan. Not a stalker kind of person at all, just a big fan. I’m thankful for the water. That is for me right?” She nodded and handed him the glass. “Thanks,” he said as he took the glass and began drinking. “She’s weird, that woman,” he whispered. “Thanks for saving me.”

“Do I know you?” she asked softly.

Kent took her arm and led her to the table at the front of the room. It was obviously a tactic to keep people from coming up to him, by keeping her close.

“No. Sorry.” He set his water on the table and held his hand out to shake hers. “Formal intro now. Kent Black.”

“Bethany Waterbury.”

“I really like your work. I saw you the other day. I didn’t know it was you, but I saw you.”

She narrowed her eyes on him. “You saw me?”

“You were having coffee with some man. I think he was your brother.”

“How do you know that?”

His cheeks flushed and he wiped his hand over his forehead. “Oh, well, the coffee shop was full. I saw you looking for a table. I was going to invite you to sit with me. You sat with some man and then when you left, you smiled at me, and then said something to him about having lunch with Dad.”

God, he was a crazy mess too, this man who kept her up all night.
