Fashionista Friday: Anna Karenina

Looking for a bit of 19th century Russian romance in the 21st century? Keira Knightley-one of my favorite actresses- and Jude Law will bring Anna Karenina back to the silver screen on November 16th. For those wanting their Russian-inspired fix sooner, Banana Republic has collaborated with the film's costume designer, Jacqueline Durran to create an Anna Karenina capsule collection. Fur caps, lace-embellished dresses, capes and military jackets round out the collection that feels modern with a vintage flair.  Here are some of my favorite pieces from the collection.

Don't you love this faux fur scarf?

I also like this faux fur collar cardigan. Notice the belt.

I like this black lace dress too.  The collection has accessories as well as dresses, skirts, blouses, and cardigans.  You can look at it all at http://bananarepublic.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=84929&mlink=87784,5717074,1&clink=5717074
