Fashionista Friday

Welcome to Fashionista Friday. Today let's continue to see what I had in mind fashion wise when I wrote certain parts of my novels. First and excerpt and then my inspiration picture.

He heard a footstep on the terrace and turned to face an angel.

The angel’s blond hair framed her heart-shaped face in golden curls. Her dress was snow white. It had off-the-shoulder sleeves made with what his grandmother called eyelet and a turquoise sash that tied in a big bow in the back. The tiered, full skirt ended right at her knees. She wore a pair of simple, white thong sandals.

“Aimee . . .” Cade’s voice failed him. He’d seen her in jeans and shorts, and he’d seen her in a bathing suit and a nineteenth- century dress, but nothing had prepared him for this vision. “You look beautiful,” he finally croaked.

This was a vintage, one of a kind dress, but wouldn't it look pretty with that turquoise sash? If you like the look of eyelet, here's a dress you can actually buy.

Blurb:
Aimee Sherwood never dreamed that following her fiancĂ© into the witness protection pro-gram would land her in a haunted house in a town that’s downright creepy. She’d have laughed if she had been told the guy who lives down the road might be her soul mate, not the man whose ring she’s wearing. Life in West Virginia is nothing like life in Los Angeles, but between bean ball battles with Marilyn Monroe, remodeling a crumbling farmhouse, and starting a new online business, life in the country is anything but boring.
