Blurb:
If up and coming realtor Holly Grant can buy Turnaround Farm for her client, her business will boom. Who says you have to have a man in your life to complete you? She’s fine as she is thank you very much. Her first problem is that Jeb Wakefield doesn’t want to sell his farm, and her second problem is Jeb’s grandson Dan, the finest looking man Holly’s ever seen.

Excerpt: Chapter One
Last week

They finished their meal and got up to tidy the kitchen. As Dan threw a log into the fireplace, they heard someone hammering on the back door. “Are you expecting company?” he asked, surprise in his voice. Company very seldom darkened the door of Turnaround Farm. After working all day, neither of them felt much like socializing.

Jeb shook his head. “No, I’m not expecting anyone.”

He hurried across the room to see who was out on such a bad night. Two shivering, snow-covered women stood on his doorstep. “Why, Miss Grant and Miss Patterson!” he exclaimed.

This Week: We begin where we left off last week. Jeb is speaking.

  1. Why do I have a feeling the ladies will be stuck at the farm overnight? Enjoyed the excerpt - I sure felt the cold as you described the scene!

  2. And the two women could, of course, stay here for the night.

  4. Some people just don't think during a crisis. Loretta is a bit of a whiner. Sensible Holly knows what to do. LOL I'm sure they'll spend the night. Have a great holiday, Elaine.
