“Maybe the whales would be ok staying in the water”

How to begin? Since this is only my second book I can only guarantee one thing, it will definitely not hit the NY Times best seller list anytime soon,(ok let's not jinx it just in case). In fact I don’t know if this will even make it into a bookstore, but it should do well in the streets and the flea markets and the alleys, well maybe not there. I have no clue where it will end up. But it doesn’t matter. After my life of 70 years this is my legacy, good, bad, ugly or indifferent. I also have no highly respected, eloquent and world known personality to write this forward for me. I’m stuck with me. And I’m still not sure how to begin it. Maybe I’m experiencing ‘writer’s block’ or maybe I just can’t write. That’s it, I'm not a writer. What do you expect? I'm only a hippy philosopher. Thank God I got that off my chest.

So let's try again. Let this be my guiding thought as I work my way through this thing.... that I will call a book.(who reads books anymore anyways?) Truth is I am a nobody. Yes I have been a hippy/artist most of my adult life, maybe at times even a hipster, but that’s just merely a very hip hippy. I have not accomplished a lot in life, in fact I haven’t accomplished anything, and may not succeed in finishing this book either. But though I am a nobody, I am definitely beginning to realize that this ‘nobody’ is really everybody. Everybody means every being, like “everything...all of it”, and I know no one will believe me, but I’m saying it anyway, so there. Some people call it the universe. I don’t think I have a big enough ego to compare myself to the universe. Then again the truth is, that’s exactly what I am, and this includes you all too. Some people even use that dreaded... G.. word. My tiny little individual self is all selves, as significant and insignificant as every other being in the world. This is the whole premise of this writing. All us little beings from the tiniest quarks and leprechauns (whoops leptons) to humans and super galaxies are all One Vast Being.... Us...Now... Here. So yes I am, in reality indeed the universe, and I should have an ego the same size in order to believe it. It’s called the Law of One which I will get into in Chapter 1. I am still stuck in this forward and it kind of feels like I am going more backwards, then forward, but never mind, forwards or backwards we keep on keeping on.

What not to do when writing your first book of 470 pages

First and foremost don't start writing that 470 page book no matter how excited you are about completing this great opus. People generally don't want to read such long books. And in this present world of instant gratification,instant internet and super smart phones who do everything except clean the dishes, the average person who you usually see with their head in their phones, don't have the attention span to go through a 400-500 page book. They are so spoiled with instant everything, they just would not be able to deal that so many pages, no matter how brilliant the writing is. My writing is definitely not in that lofty and brilliant league. Their attention span likes to deal with a few pages,videos or images at a time until they get bored with that as well, so soon enough they tend to go home and watch TV to escape from it all. But working slowly steadily through a longish book is not their idea of a fun night at home. The serious book fans are capable of diving into a 800, 900 page opus, but they are less and less nowadays. They are certainly not the market to aim for if you as a writer, are looking for your target audience. And yet the great books of the past remain great because of the depth and profound level of their communication. Nothing equals a great book, especially a book of knowledge( a great fiction novel is wonderful of course but it isn't quite the same as a non fiction book full of insights/understanding/wisdom).A non fiction book can take a reader on a lofty adventure, a sublime learning experience that takes the reader on a journey of discovery, whether it takes days, weeks even months to get through that 400-500-700 page book, that lucky reader is simply enthralled, fascinated by the knowledge, wisdom that a great writer can pass along.

When I started my “AhHa...Guide To The Golden Age” I really had no idea where exactly it was going to go, how it would get there, and how many steps or pages it may take. I just had to get it out of me, knowing it was my 'legacy' what I had to share, from my 50 plus adult years of discovery, understanding, and even legitimate insights into the how and why of it all. The “All” is referring to everything, the universe and everything and everyone that is in it, and especially the vast intelligence behind it. Some people refer to this vast consciousness as the “ God”.And this is what I had to communicate in my “little book” which turned out to be a little bigger that I intended. But squeezing 50 adult years of evolutionary understanding into 450 plus pages is almost acceptable. I had to do it, its done, I'm free of it all. Almost free, since I have to finish this 12 week “Blog tour” which I committed to, to get a few more people interested in this book. I do want want people to read it, to enjoy and laugh with it, laugh at our absurd human condition and yet keep that compassion going for all us suffering humans. This book, my legacy, is a way to look at it all, to understand some of it all, to appreciate it all, to laugh with the Source of it all, and most important to fully appreciate the transition we are all in, whether we understand it or not. A Golden Age is just around the corner, for our human family. We best all understand it at a high enough level to fully appreciate what we are all about to enter into. Golden Ages are rare on this planet and other similar Earths, taking either almost 26,000 years or the larger cycle of 75,000 years. We better appreciate this, otherwise we are missing the whole vast “Story of the Universe and Us”.It would be a shame to miss this entry into this New Age. Some, perhaps many souls will miss it, for their souls may not be ready for this “upgrade” from 3 D to upper 4 D and 5 D. But for the extremely lucky souls who are tuned in, whether from their own personal soul's growth or even getting opened up and awakened to it all, by an odd book such as this one, happy to pass on the knowledge. We are the truly lucky ones if we are waking up to all of this, all of this soon to be “Golden Age”. Ok so it may have taken me all of 473 pages to get all this info out and all of the insights that I have sprinkled throughout the book, I feel in an amusing and interesting fashion. For my first major book(did write a much shorter simpler book some years back), I needed enough space to get in all the hundreds of figures/images in, the dozens and dozen of humorous detours, the fun science facts,and the brilliant insights of more than a dozen great writers/thinkers/philosophers. This book is, what it is...whatever that is. And it is a guide book of sorts. In fact it is what I intended it to be a “ AhHa..Guide To The Golden Age” for beginners or intermediates on the path of discovery. We are all about to enter this Brand New Age, that the Mayan people, with their Mayan Calendar were pointing very precisely to. Some major sources of High understanding, are indicating that by late 2024, or possibly into 2025, humanity and our Earth will be entering into this long foretold, long awaited present Age. We in 2023, are mere moments away as we approach midnight and our wondrous entry into this New Positive Age, this Second Coming, this Heaven on Earth. We are truly blessed to be alive at this time. Waking up even 1 or 2 people to this possibility, will have made this 470 pages worth every minute of the effort. In fact, all in all, I had a great time filling up these 470 pages.
