Saturday Sample and Weekend Writing Warriors: Never Trust a Pretty Wolf

Welcome to Saturday Sample and Weekend Writing Warriors. Today we'll continue to share excerpts from Never Trust a Pretty Wolf. On Sunday when you finish here, do go to http://www.wewriwa.blogspot.com for more excerpts from a bunch of great authors.

Blurb:
Liesel Wolf has a secret, a dangerous secret she’ll go to any lengths to conceal. When she’s paired in a charity game with sexy marshal Andy Bryce, a man with secrets of his own, her carefully constructed world comes crashing down, and Liesel’s on a collision course with her past.

Excerpt:
Chapter One

Last Week

This week: We're in Andy's POV

  1. How on earth do you ignore someone who is talking to you for two hours? I don't think I like Liesel very much. That just sounds rude, especially when she recognizes that Andy's the good guy in this. Great snippet!

BTW, Elaine--You say this week's snippet is in Andy's POV, but it's actually Liesel's.

  2. She is watching him as he sleeps and I got a kick out of what's happening.

  3. She comes off as hard, but this snippet showed a slightly softer side of her.

  4. Uh oh, she's weakening ever so slightly here LOL. Enjoyed the snippet although I'm surprised he felt comfortable enough to sleep...but I relish your unexpected twists and turns.

  5. Great! I love the unspoken tension between her appreciation for his looks and her determination to have little to do with him.

  6. Like Jenna, I wonder how she could ignore someone talking to you for over two hours. It doesn't jive with her feelings toward him as he sleeps.

  7. She's attracted to him despite her wanting nothing to do with him.
