Chapter One
Last Week

The gnats and mosquitoes would make that trek horrible!
ReplyDeleteWhoever left the clue in such a hard to reach, insect-infested location, was a bit of a sadist.
ReplyDeleteAt this stage in the book, I remember thinking that it serves Liesel right-- for being so mean to Andy. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, the joys of being in the woods (itch itch itch!). I like these inner glimpses of Liesel.
ReplyDeleteUgh. I can so clearly picture the climb. I'm always a mosquito magnet, for some reason :(
ReplyDeleteOkay, that vivid description really made me understand how uncomfortable the climb had gotten! Great snippet!
ReplyDeleteSo much for an idyllic spot.
